Why choose a flake floor system?

To change your boring, vulnerable substrate into an aesthetically pleasing, resilient floor. Choose a flake floor system for a seamless, hygienic, easy to clean, uv stable, stain, scratch, slip and chemical resistant floor that is extremely durable and when professionally installed and maintained correctly, will last from anywhere between 10-20+ years. These floors are more hygienic than other floors due to being seamless and non porous which in turn does not allow bacteria or dirt to build up or grow in gaps, cracks, grout lines or joins. This flooring system is usually only a two – three day (most small to medium jobs. Bigger jobs three – four days) process. The first day is spent doing preparation, the base coat and lastly the broadcasting of the flake. You have a choice between full broadcast – the flake has total coverage on the base coat – or partial broadcast -The flake does not have total coverage on the base coat – and can be made to look like terrazzo flooring if desired. On the second day we will prep the flake ready for the top coat. Depending on your choice, we will do one or two top coats. If for any reason you need the floor to have an even higher anti slip rating, we can add an additive that will insure even more safety. This style floor can be customised to your liking using a combination of colours or a mono colour flake. New colour combinations are always been made but below are just a few examples.
